What ACW Does
ACW Training & Operation Services supports commercial and government facilities throughout Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia with stationary steam engineering, central plant operations, commercial HVAC maintenance, workforce training, job placement, and qualified engineering staffing.
Commercial building operations and maintenance is our primary offer. Workforce training, license and certification preparation, job training, job placement, and building staffing are supporting service lines that help facilities stay covered and help people build careers in the field.

Aaron Witherspoon, CEO & Founder
Aaron Witherspoon is the CEO of ACW Training & Operation Services, bringing more than 20 years of hands-on industry experience in stationary steam engineering, commercial HVAC, building operations and maintenance, workforce development, technical training, and staffing.
His career combines extensive facilities operations experience with a commitment to developing the next generation of skilled Stationary Steam Engineers and building operations professionals. Aaron earned his District of Columbia Third Class Engineer License through Four Walls Career & Technical Education Center and continued his professional advancement to earn his DC First Class Engineer License.
Beyond his technical career, Aaron has become an active advocate for workforce development throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. He has recruited and mentored adults pursuing careers in Stationary Steam Engineering, conducted classroom visits to encourage students through their training, provided individual mentorship, monitored student progress, and created opportunities for students to gain exposure to real-world working environments.
Aaron has also served in a leadership role in an ongoing workforce-development partnership with Four Walls Career & Technical Education Center. As Project Leader, his responsibilities have included providing guidance on curriculum, supporting mentoring and job-shadowing opportunities, helping create internship opportunities, contributing resources, and participating in the school's advisory efforts to help prepare students for careers in the skilled trades.
His approach to leadership is grounded in practical experience, technical knowledge, mentorship, and service. Through ACW Training & Operation Services, Aaron brings that same philosophy to commercial building operations — developing reliable teams, strengthening maintenance programs, supporting facility performance, and helping organizations build a skilled workforce capable of operating and maintaining complex building systems.
The Four Walls Career & Technical Education Center has recognized Aaron for his continued generosity, leadership, and tangible impact within the community, reflecting a career focused not only on operating and maintaining facilities, but also on creating opportunities for others to succeed.
